My research focuses on fiscal sustainability amidst the ballooning government debt in Japan and other advanced countries. I analyze the potential impact of continued government debt growth and consider the political aspects of fiscal policy adoption, including voting and decision-making in the parliament. These are the areas that interest me and form the main theme of my research.
