My recent research interest is in the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that make up the supplier system.

It has been noted that the Japanese supplier system has supported the international competitiveness of domestic finished product industries such as automobiles and home appliances.

However, the number of Japanese SMEs that were incorporated into such supplier systems has been decreasing year by year.

My main research subject is to elucidate the reasons for this.
